My Home Automation Adventures 

Some 20+ years ago, I decided that I was going to automate my house.  The technology was at best, embryonic in maturity.  

I started out designing my own circuits and writing assembly language software for my TRS-80 Model III.

Today, the available hardware / software technologies are far from integrated, but have indeed come a long way.
